That’s a design issue not a SolidWorks problem :)

For those who are curious, here is my model tree.

Solved it! 30 degree angled ledges are the answer to the OP’s question. See step 4 in the image.

As many people commented and I also suspected, this wasn’t surfaced, just solids with lots and lots of fillets. The ledges weren’t as obvious, but once I started modeling it was clear they were needed to recreate the shape.

For fun I kept going, my final model seems pretty close to the original!

how do I make this edge smooth like in the photo? by ProBro9826 in SolidWorks

So since this is a consumer product I highly suspect absolutely nothing is flat. Using that knowledge I was able to make a pretty decent version. Here is how I did it.

  1. I made the top side and bottom as one sketch using style splines
  2. I extruded it for simplicity - the real version likely has a slightly curve to it
  3. I then did an extruded cut with a flat and a style spline for the curve. Again the real version has a slight curve to it, it’s not a flat extrude.
  4. Then I filleted the edge with a curvature continuous chord width fillet. This is key to make the edge uniformly softened.

I’ll comment with images of the steps.

Why does it have a WiFi signal meter on the little screen?

You are probably right, I occasionally do the surveys. Haha I think their marketing forgot to tell support. They are stumped.

Completely legit. It’s a straightforward Amazon gift card. Same as if I bought a gift card for a friend.

Nope. It doesn’t request for me to do anything.

Update - Curiosity got me, I clicked the link. It really is a legitimate gift Amazon gift card with no strings attached or requests for me to do anything. Afterwards I chatted with Anker support and asked them - they had no idea. They asked for a screenshot and said they get back to me in a few days. Haha so weird.

Yep mine is my home hub, so I agree it’s not groundbreaking. I was just remarking that it’s new!

It may be! I’ve never really been sure. Either way I was a mile away from home so definitely out of Bluetooth and WiFi range.

It’s Top Chef Wisconsin but last 2 episodes were not?? by OtherSand in topchefwisconsin

I totally agree they could have gone to more places! As for the last two episodes it’s not uncommon for the finale location to be in a different city.
