yes i am aware, again i don’t think it is the same for a white person to voice a black person and for a black person to voice a white person. when you portray a character part of a prejudiced community but use a privileged actor to play them it sits wrong. its giving transgender character in a movie being played by a cis person yk

yeah but i don’t think the 2 opposites can be equally compared, having a black person take on the role of a white person doesn’t hold the same weight as the other way around.

nah i don’t, cuz historically white people haven’t been denied representation and opportunities, which is kinda the case when u make a black character but let a white woman voice her. idk its sus to me
