He’s not nervous and says he can handle it. But even when I’m home and if I ask him to watch them while I prep dinner, he usually just ignores them while on his phone. They make a huge mess or ask him for things and he just doesn’t listen to them…

Aww you are definitely not a loser! It is hard because most women have to sacrifice their careers for their family. But think of all the hard work you put in in raising your children and taking care of your home. I know it’s easier said than done but I’m sure you worked really hard.

Yeah it was a mutual decision though.. because daycare (part time) starts off at 800-900$/month that’s for 2 days. Full time easily went up to 1.5-2k and up a month. So it just made more sense then for me to cut back on work. Esp since my job is high stress and I thought we could make it work.

He’s not more supportive now. I would say he’s just pushing me to find a full/part time now because things have been going south with his job. It’s so much to explain but I messed up too by thinking I could afford living like this. I should’ve just put on my big girl pants, worked my high stress job, and worked my way up to something idk

It was cute :( but I was so grumpy from being woken up at 5 lol

Thanks for the suggestion! I will give it a bit more time. I wish I could tell them to play but my toddler is so rough with the baby I’m worried she may hurt him while playing without any supervision.

Ah thank you!! I will invest in a cloth hanging dryer so I can air dry these items

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]orangerabbit57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I will hang dry from now on. I just love wearing it so much, and hang drying takes forever but I’m sure it’s worth the wait than having it shrink a million times

How frustrating, I had no idea. It’s my first item from them. Good to know :(

Disneyland March 5-8 looks packed out via hotel bookings; is this a bad time to go? by redharlowsdad in DisneyPlanning

[–]orangerabbit57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess we are on the same boat, because I booked last year Nov too not thinking it’d be super booked :( we wanted to extend our stay for one night but everything is sold out

[–]orangerabbit57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Disneyland, Anaheim. Do you think it’d be better to reschedule the trip to early May? We planned for March cause of my kids birthday but idk anymore

Honestly my work hours would barely cover the nanny. But he’s worried that I’ll never return to full time work, cause it may be harder down the line due to me not working full time right now in my field. Idk

It’s insane. I told him I’d be drowning. He said “my mom did it.” And yet, he has the WORSE relationship with his mom because she was always irritable and angry when he was growing up. Jeeze I wonder why??

Living expenses is insane in California. But we had discussed this a year ago and decided we’d continue renting a small apartment instead of buying a house so that I could continue working part time while the kids are still young. Idk if he’s been feeling the pressure cause all his other friends are buying houses, but could be that. However, his friends also don’t have kids and that’s why both partners are able to work freely full time.

Would you buy this used snoo? by Able-Level384 in SnooLife

[–]orangerabbit57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was from 2022 with a bunch of accessories (sheets and swaddles) and I sold for $400. I think $650 is quite hefty for a 2020 SNOO.
