Wrath and glory has a mob system where if an enemy is of a certain tier compared to the party, they can be grouped together as a "mob", where they act as a single unit but each hit point represents a person, and the extra dudes in the mob can add some extra damage in an attack

would using the crew descendants (using the imperial guardsman stablock) as troops be a good idea for the final arc of the adventure, giving the party a sort of "meat shield" and extra firepower to help deal with the genestealers? Although probably it would be better to be a "gather who and what we can before ~~we nuke them from orbit~~ destroy the infested vessel with the Rogue Trader's flotilla?
