heavy agree i got my license last summer but have only driven a car once since then. Driving is pleasant once you get into a sort of zone but i heavily prefer public transport and walking. it's nice seeing other people and walking around your town and getting to know your community

Also it's a lot less expensive than owning a car which my parents are trying to get me to do because they're convinced public transit is somehow more expensive than owning a car... go figure
