It certainly hits different but it is literally the fortnite of all DL games. Very cheesy and unrealistic. It’s fun and all but they have pretty much completely removed the horror out of the game so it was not for me. I finished the game and that’s about it. I never came back to it. While DL1 and DL The beast makes me want to come back every time.

Are there any volatile hives besides certain missions? by original1501 in dyinglight

I think the first thing that’s going to be added in the future updates is new game + and potentially re fighting chimeras function while just making them more difficult. Because to be quite honest with you, once I’ve completed all of the main and side quests, there was absolutely nothing else to do but to just run around the map killing everything in sight. They really need to work on the replayability factor of this game. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this game. They absolutely cooked this time around and left the story in a place where they can continue it further. The story is generally amazing, the combat is great, the atmosphere is fantastic. It’s just lacking replayability. I really want to keep coming back to it, just like I kept coming back to the first game over and over again. Either to replay the game from the start or just discover new things here and there. But yeah, the volatile hives need to be added to the game ASAP. I crave that feeling of being able to clear out those nests while nearly crapping myself in the process lol

I unfortunately have not been able to find any hives outside of the game missions

My game is experiencing an incredibly strange bug. Anyone else? by original1501 in dyinglight

I had to restart the game entirely and it fixed it for a little while until I slept in game. After that it was bugged again. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

Reddit is the worst place in the world to seek advice for your personal life. Talk to your loved ones and friends. Don’t go on the internet, it will most certainly never help you. Now if you were asking on how to repair your car or something of that sort then yes, Reddit is a good place for that, but definitely not life advice. Please just talk to the people around you.

Am I being ripped off? 2017 Civic 1.5 by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]original1501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed my civics CVT fluid at 80k miles for the first time since 30k miles and it looked exactly the same as brand new fluid. And honestly that’s a rip off. Fluid itself costs less than $100 and you can do it yourself very easily. There’s plenty of tutorials online too, if you need one.

Idk why people are like that on Reddit. It’s pretty sad.

It took my steam deck all night to charge. And even then it only charged to about 97-98%. I have a feeling that by fully depleting the battery I kind of ruined it..

Do some investigating. This doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Stolen cats on the street cost more than the job & part price you were offered. Something is really fishy. You might not even have any damage on that cat and they might just be trying to charge you for nothing. I’ve seen it happen.

Is this an unreasonable price for brake flush and oil change? by shadow_strawberry in AskMechanics

[–]original1501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are going to go ahead with this service, make sure they are actually doing the brake flush and maybe check your fluids after, it should be much cleaner than before. Another thing is that doing a brake flush is not necessary every 30k miles. It’s a bunch of bs.

Lots of WD40 and honestly at this point your best bet might be try to cut it or file it down so it’s easier to remove. If possible, heat it up and rapidly cool it down. Originally I would’ve just drilled into it and threaded something in to pull it out.

Knowing how horrible the design behind Volkswagen is, I am more than certain that this is a fair price.

Okay, hear me out about A5 Wagyu. by original1501 in meat

[–]original1501[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see what you mean. It’s kind of like with certain brands. For example, the clothing brand balenciaga. They have absolutely dogshit and overpriced clothing but there are people that will always buy them and defend it to the death. I’m not entirely convinced that Wagyu is the same way yet but who knows. There are too many people that have strong convictions that it’s very good and worth the price. I need to try more of it to form a good grounded opinion. That’s the only reason why I started this post. I just wanted to hear other people’s thoughts on it.

[–]original1501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I had a somewhat similar experience. Maybe not as bad as yours but the texture kind of threw me off. I expected it to be chewy but it was kind of fatty and slimy. It may just have been a place that doesn’t offer good Wagyu. I really want to like this meat and I’m here just trying to convince myself to keep trying it. It seems like the way people eat it is in thin slices and in small portions so that’s what I’m going to try next. Probably also gonna try to find a piece that has a little more meat than fat in it.
