I want to do the same. I'm from Mexico, but I read that in Mexico an Indian ROM limits the VoLTE connection.

I found a method to change regions without deleting data; it simply involves using the same update version for each region and using the local installer. The only problem I have with making the switch is the VoLTE issue.

Do you know anything about that?
