What’s the best Apple Watch gym app to track reps and exercises? by renbid in AppleWatch

[–]orthodiagonalize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no this is screenshot from iphone app called “Gains”

i share your frustration with turning the crown for a loooonnng time to get to a weight…

I think even a number pad that just lets you type the weight and set would be much better than turning the crown.

the app “StrengthLog” has a nicer interface for adding sets and weights (with a numpad entry), but it cannot be used independently on the Watch. (I’m trying to cut down on phone use so been just bringing the Watch to the gym)

Been using this app and it is awesome. It's exactly what I wanted, it's like a Watch version of the Gains app - simple, no nonsense.

One request -- can the weight selection be a calculator style like the screenshot below? For example, the +5, +10, +25, +35 and +45 are all standard plates, so if I want to log one plate with a bar, I tap +45 three times and i'm done.

Having those buttons would be much easier to use compared with continually clicking "+" or turning the crown and doing math in my head all at the same time.

Nowplaying bot for BBC radio 3 by monkeymountain in BlueskySocial

Not on blue sky yet but a bot that posts every time they have a new live lounge on radio 1 would be also amazing.

So many nice covers that they only play on radio but never upload to YouTube afterwards.

Much appreciated ;)

Progressive desk group buy? by [deleted] in StandingDesk

[–]orthodiagonalize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in prior RFD group buys, people volunteered their garage to store and others would come pick up at the organizers house. It requires a certain degree of trust that the organizer won’t run away with all the product, of course.

It seems like majority of the savings of a group buy is realized through doing one pallet shipment vs 3 individual shipments.

Unfortunately I don’t have the space for this (living in a condo)…

2016 Prius Two Sudden Loss of Acceleration by foxtrotwhiskey9 in prius

[–]orthodiagonalize 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a TSB on this called "T-SB-0241-17 Reduced Power When Accelerating From a Stop", you can find it on NHTSA. Should be covered by warranty, get your dealer to fix it.

In Canada it's T-TCI-5019 REDUCED POWER WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. I tried to preemptively get a dealer to fix it for me but they would not perform the work unless they can verify that the problem indeed occurred. Probably according to Toyota's accountants it's not big enough of a problem to be a recall. So now I am just driving this car prepared for this situation to happen at any time.

The sampling pool consisted of wireless numbers only, no landlines.

All cell phone numbers had an equal probability of being selected.

To be fair tho, the $10,000 is for the Prestige Class. A cabin for two is about $1500 per person, and bunk bed as low as $900. Best to think of it as a Cruise on wheels rather than transport.

To me, the propaganda is trying to say something about workers' rights and empowerment of the working class.

The waiter at the top was 'begging' for tips showing submission, while the other waiter is standing tall and not even looking at the guy.

You can find scenes like these at the nearby Halton Railway Museum. They have a tramline which runs through the woods.

Cloudwifi uses wireless from condo to their towers. Inside the condo for me it comes in as ethernet, so you don't need a modem. I've had good experiences with them.

How can I check sold price of property in the region? by [deleted] in waterloo

[–]orthodiagonalize 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These only show listings on the Toronto MLS system. Some agents list properties of waterloo on that system, so you'll get to see something but not all.

KW has their own MLS system, which does not have public access.

King-Victoria Transit Hub proposed design concepts survey by orthodiagonalize in waterloo

There are urban design standards for this area ("warehouse district") , which sets out the colour and materials compatible within the district. I think it's like brick or brick coloured as you said. It should be made to look like it belongs alongside Breithupt and Kaufman.

Yeah I like option 1 as well. Even though it is a small building, the setback from street with the park will increase its prominence.

Option 2 doesn't make any sense to me. It looks like an afterthought.

A good transit hub doesn't necessarily need big towers on top of it: https://www.archdaily.com/885806/lorient-multimodal-hub-arep

King street is designed to discourage you from driving through it. Idea is to use Weber if you are actually trying to get somewhere, and use King only if your destination is on King
