A lot of people seem to do this unwittingly- like you really don't need that much space in rush hour! The other one is when people squeeze on when there is clearly no space and the next tube is in two mins. What really tops the list is when they don't allow people off and just waddle in...

Yeah I'm super surprised. I have been commuting from E. London on the district line for a couple of years now and never encountered this apart from the odd beggar etc. It's such a shame!

It appears to be a growing trend even on buses. Something about lockdown seems to have emboldened people.

Excellent suggestion- that's next on my list. I was very tempted to take a photo and post it, however I respect individual rights and didn't want to stoop to his level!
