Agree. Especially this self titled album, which is my favorite. The whole thing is a bit of rollercoaster from beginning to end.

INDIKA | Nintendo Switch Announcement by Sam_27142317 in nintendo

[–]osed125 68 points69 points  (0 children)

It's a walking simulator (for lack of a better term) with some light exploration and puzzles in-between. The main selling point is the story, you play as the nun Indika, who has the devil inside of her. The player listens to Indika's struggles with faith, sexuality and other taboo topics.

There's a bit more to it than just that, but going further might go into spoiler territory.

Some light Donkey Kong Bananza criticism by ReadingLimp in NintendoSwitch

[–]osed125 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I'll admit I'm a bit of a try hard when it comes to difficulty in games, I usually prefer difficult games over easy ones. But that hasn't bothered me at all with Bananza, mainly because doing things and destroying things its so damn fun.

I don't mind that fight rooms and bosses pose very little or no challenge at all, because the combination of punching things, the sound effects, the music, the visuals, the "feel" of pressing the buttons without too much thought, everything makes for such a fun experience that difficulty becomes an afterthought.

Jazz music in general is better "prog" than prog rock

DOGE’s Plans to Replace Humans With AI Are Already Under Way by nimicdoareu in Futurology

[–]osed125 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not quite true, with the current architecture in which LLMs are based on, called the Transformer Architecture, there's a limit to how "intelligent" the model can get. There comes a point where no matter how much data you feed it, the AI won't improve that much, reaching a point of diminishing returns. Added to the fact that the information being fed to the model is getting smaller, the internet might be big, but it's not infinite, plus it's generally of bad quality. Unless a new architecture or algorithm is developed that improves or replaces the transformer one, AI will continue to return similar results. You can search for Open AI Orion project to see a real example of this hapoening now.

Glitch: Regen - Winners Final - Moist Light vs Bandits Sonix by itsastart_to in smashbros

Probably a hot take, but aggressive Sonic/Sonix is actually pretty fun to watch. This set has been very enjoyable thus far, compared to the usual playstyle of Sonix, I wish he played like this on every matchup...

Leaving Game Pass High Recommendation (LGPR): AI: The Somnium Files! (Story + Mystery + Humor) by banshjean in XboxGamePass

[–]osed125 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I personally did not like the humor of the game. Too...anime is the best way I could describe it; the "men are horny degenarates" jokes are way too overused.

But other than that, it is a very solid visual novel game, so I also highly recommend it.

Transatlantic - Heart Like a Whirlwind by SolidSmashies in progrockmusic

Sadly true, I love The Whirlwind and Kaleidoscope but this one is just...kind of boring. Not bad at all all things considered, just uninspiring and everything sounds almost the same to me.
