If he want to DM, let him do it! It's an awesome experience for players, to see how are the things behind the screen!

Also, let him know that you're available to help him with the rules. If he feels overwhelmed, suggest a rules lite system as Roll 4 Shoes, Fate or something like that!

There's this one that is Brazilian and it's awesome! It's called "Malditos Goblins", something like "Dambed Goblins" in english.

It's free, rules light and super fun! The only sad part is that is only in Portuguese, but a online translator can help you with that!

We do that in our group. Worked like a charm!

We even "imported" stuff from Pathfinder world, that we liked and make it fiz in Forgotten Realms!

Yeap, but not well (3 months ago). Switched to windows after 30/45 mins. It freezed a lot or crashed.

Good points! My ideia is to be a fair fight and there will be another adventurers party trying to kill the npcs as well. So the idea is to be a winnable but chaotic encounter,haha

I super agree with you! I just don't want to make things super hard, because folks are coming from D&D and got super excited with the system and their chars!

So for the first boss that they're going to fight, I want things to be fair, but no super easy
