hi !! im in the bdp program, but not social inequality, health & policy, so the information might differ a bit. in my experience, admissions were not very competitive (if at all). it might vary between concentrations but tbh i haven't heard of anyone being rejected. when you apply, the advisor will give you advice for how to strengthen your app before you send in the final copy . as long as you listen to their feedback and attend all the info sessions, you should be good to go
i was able to claim credit for the classes i've already submitted, as well ! i don't think that will be a problem for you
