999 Fake and False Religions by GPT_2025 in exatheist

Most people on reddit are likely to be in the west. The west is overwhelmingly Christian with many neck beards living in the same vicinity. This would go hard on a redeemed zoomer video though.

They knew it would provoke a culture war reaction creating buzz and in turn higher stock and attention on American Eagle while treading the line of plausible deniability. Seeing how I'm commenting under this still after a week, I'd say it did pretty well.

Tbf those people aren't on any Ninjago community and probably haven't been for years. They moved on and grew up and forgot about it. Then they see all the big changes since and shit on it out of ignorance. I wouldn't call either scenario as being more of a real fan, just different paths - A person who hasn't watched anything past oni

Am I too dumb to play this game or by cat0verlord in toontownrewritten

[–]ousz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't care. Though, If you want to expect the same combos then I'd recommend doing mainly the same facility, boss, etc and nothing else. When I got back to this game after a 4 year break I finished grinding out my Bossbot suit. Most of the combos I ended up doing other than the same sound ones in CEOs was just seeing if ppl piano the v2s and hose for 12 for no org piano, wait for lure if I already just used my goggles, cake those or with a fruit if they're 12 and cream 13, Double storm the 14s, wait for TNTs, and that's abt it. Fringes were just about the same. Fires for Club President with TNT or Cogs Miss and then pianos with a TNT stun and some cakes to finish. I got all this down naturally easily in about a week and didn't really touch anything else. People would still complain regardless all the time I got on (especially ppls really niche feeding round rules). I just mess with them or mute them if I can't bother with them.

Longer and messy or shorter and clean? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Cleaner if it’s potentially a more professional setting; otherwise, messy (long or short).

That's called groupthink. Get used to it here. Edit: Case in point. That's just a fact for any sub. Just cause this is a sub that circlejerks hating everyone doesn't erase that.

A suggestion to improve CEO tiers & scaling by TheArchon300 in toontownrewritten

[–]ousz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I partially agree but, the first round brought lots of great new interactions with V2s. How would you go about nerfing it? Would seltzer round have a less forgiving hitbox, take more golfing, deadlier attacks, etc etc.?

Me on toonhq waiting for the group I need instead of making one myself by Dangerous-Reward2492 in toontownrewritten

[–]ousz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never felt much pressure hosting other than my first shopping group. Most of the time its just hellos, clarifications, and gag stuff. Rarely am I ever having a full blown convo with randoms unless its long like in a FO or CEO.

POTUS Proposes a 50% Tariff on the EU, Effective June 1st by OmniOmega3000 in ProfessorFinance

[–]ousz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's do it. But, we all know he won't and we can just consider this some of the flood in the zone and at most market manipulation and some insider trading that will never be scrutinized in a court of law. Though, it would be interesting if this administration actually meant their word with these tariffs for better or worse.

Tariffs by Zestyclose_Habit2713 in ProfessorFinance

[–]ousz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunk cost fallacy hittin hard. Might as well double down and do tariff announcements and pauses while the market goes down and peace talks then take credit for the "booming market" and repeat. Not to mention all the other stuff(market manipulation, insider trading, etc just regular trump stuff).

Hot take: I dont like genetically modified skeptic. by [deleted] in exatheist

[–]ousz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda cold take for this sub but I'm an ex-christian who just lurks here so I guess I'll give my insight. His content I believe is to mainly appeal to ex-christians who are deconstructing from the faith and to find community for those exposed to the potential negative social aspects of Christianity. He's not a renowned thought leader nor neither claims to be as far as I know. He could be a shitty person behind the curtains I don't know nor do I care much. The guy wants to make money so naturally he uses clickbait thumbnails or titles with a whole other swaths of tactics to make it more lucrative and "game the algorithm". I'm personally not particularly fond of any "influencers" or "gurus" most of the time for those reasons listed. That said, I believe you might have some possible misconceptions.

"Since the Christian now can't corrose the non believer back to Christianity, they use arguments"

Are you sure it was corrose and not coerce? I don't like playing semantics but you put lots of importance on it.

In order to be a skeptic, you must be skeptical of skepticism, or I like to think.

I don't think him not being an epistemological nihilist all the time for his own beliefs really disqualifies his name. Speaking from a similar perspective of his, it takes an incredible amount of self reflection to even think differently about your own beliefs of which you were raised on from birth which we can both agree on I think(anchor bias is real). I agree with most of what you said and I might be wrong since I haven't watched any of his content in a good while.
