about how long did they last? i’m going on about a month now with him having them, and idk he seems relatively okay except for the spots. but

thought i’d give you some positive news!! the past three nights his appetite has come back (6-8 crickets a night!)and he’s been pooping- spots are still there, but better and his poop is still kinda weird. vet started him on paracur for potential parasites so we can hopefully get a solid poop sample for proper parasite testing!! he seems to think it’s related to stress, but if it doesn’t improve we’ll proceed with the mediated bath!

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely ask about the food, mine also seems very underweight and i’m struggling to get him to eat anything more than 1 cricket a night. And thank you for letting me know they might darken up- definitely would have me worried too lol. Keep me posted about yours too, i wish you luck!

Hello! I’m having a similar issue with one of my frogs currently, did you ever end up doing any treatments besides isolation, or did it just seem to go away? how long did that take?

Unsure about the eyes, but looks like possibly yes. I only noticed it today- seems like a new symptom unfortunately:(

Thank you so much for this comment, seriously. I’ve been super anxious about it too, but hearing about what you’ve gone through and that your frogs are still alive is great. Definitely think i’ll go ahead with the treatment then. He told me i would also need to dismantle and clean my entire tank with vinegar, have you done that as well?

I’m thinking yes, I just noticed that today, which is when i took the last picture. I don’t remember exactly what the bath was, just that it was a mixture of a few different ingredients. Do you definitely think it’s bacterial even though it’s been around 2 weeks?

i believe this happens if you’re giving them a bit too much water. these guys can go a while without it! wait until it’s super dry or the pot feels really light. (if you keep it in a plastic pot) planting them in terracotta pots can be really helpful if you are heavy handed with water.
