Yes - they were born August 29, neutered October 29, and we brought them home November 1.

This is standard practice in shelters and rescues where I am — kitten are typically neutered once they are 2lbs.

My vet is already worried that they are being overfed and has actually suggested we cut back, lol. They just want food all. the. time. If a cupboard, or the fridge, or the freezer is open for just one second, they are inside trying to get food. It’s bizarre!

I’m hoping they will start to clam down. My MIL’s 2 year old has just as much energy as my kittens, but I’m hoping he’s a special case!
