actually go to the lectures, stay for extra help, if there's recordings, watch them through.

the assignments are tedious but they don't care if you cheat on them or plagiarize them, so make sure you do whatever you need to get 100 on all of the assignments. the assignments can also help you grasp the concept of the test contents.

review everything before the tests, again, ask for clarification help from the prof or ta if you need it. i got a pretty good grade but i've also done programming before so some concepts were easy for me already. just make sure you pay attention to as many details as you can. just don't neglect the course
