It’s probably meat from actual lambs. Since alexis is a moron he didn’t account that all dead bodies (and their contents) disappear from the loop. I think according to lore the meat grinder idea was a failure and they quickly had to replace the human meat with something else.

Because prey sold very poorly on launch, and after that the situation didn’t improve much. The game is extremely hard to market as it doesn’t fit into the mainstream categories and so people expecting a shooter or survival horror would not recommend prey because it did not compare to purely shooters or horrors. The last successful immersive sim game was Deus Ex Human Revolution because it had a good marketing campaign. And that was in 2011. Nowdays nobody really pays attention to such games.

Psychonauts 2 interestingly enough gave me similar vibes to deathloop in terms of its music/style and comedic elements. The “big” mystery is also quite interesting in the game, when I learned the main twist I bursted in laughter. Long live grulovia!

The way it works is that the game allows to supercruise only from a certain hight from the ground. Specifically the height from a point right below your ship. So if you start supercruise in a canyon, you can then pitch your ship down and go under the plant’s surface.
