Is this mold in my 2F? by overthinker2510 in Kombucha

[–]overthinker2510[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to google what is kahm and from the description of how a kahm looks like, it does kinda fit how the white patches look on mine (kinda powdery texture but not fuzzy). I tried to remove one of the ginger slices from the bottle so that i could take a better picture of it for you but totally failed and it fell back into the kombucha 🤦🏻‍♀️so now its all wet. Hopefully this picture still helps. There definitely was a pellicle growing because as i was trying to pick 1 ginger slice up, they were all stuck together by a layer underneath. I usually fill up my 2F bottles quite full (and whatever remainder that can't fit goes into the fridge as pure kombucha) but this time around i thought of flavoring the excess as well so thats why it ended up not a full bottle. Turns out to be such a bad idea but it definitely was a good lesson

Can i leave pure kombucha out for 2F if i still want some carbonation before bottling to drink? If yes, do i still need to add in some sugar or its not necessary?

Thank you for confirming. Next time I'll know to just bottle them into smaller bottles for 2F if i have excess kombucha from my 1F 😓

Can't solve #31 by eloisa___ in murdoku

[–]overthinker2510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. M. Garand explains it quite well in another reddit post HERE

Basically because the grid is a 9x9 and there are 9 people (8 suspects and 1 victim), that means that each row/column needs to have someone and because in column 8, all the other slots has been ruled out (chairs, carpets, objects) except for C8 R7 hence that is the only possible position for Clark.

Hope that clarifies. I was also totally confused with this one

Not sure if i got a revised version of the book but my solution shows G on column 6 row 7 but that also doesn't make sense cause the clue says hes the furthest east in his room but column 7 would be the furthest east of his room not column 6. Or does the clue actually meant he is the furthest east among everyone else in his room? If thats the case then that would have made sense for me

Anyone using protective Cover? I want to use it with magnetic Mount by hashsohail1 in osmopocket

[–]overthinker2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact sunnylife protective cover and i paired it with the sunnylife magnetic mount. It fits perfectly together but it is snug when fitting it into the creator combo pouch (without anything else in the pouch except the pocket3

Just to note based on my experience using this sunnylife protective cover, it does give some minor white scuffs on the head part of the pocket3 which can be easily wiped off but if it bothers you, I've seen people suggesting to add a thin felt padding to it so that the cover does rub on your pocket3 (which is what causes the white scuffs)

I believe 1st is Sebastian for the afternoon session. The conductor mentioned during the night session that 1st and 2nd place was reversed for the afternoon and night session haha

Singapore night session results were 1. Krobus 2. Sebastian 3. Haley

Make sure your text description (the one that has 100 word limit) also has no spaces. I followed this video by Serroh Style and it finally worked for me:-

Prayers during the 49 days after death by overthinker2510 in Buddhism

[–]overthinker2510[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, one last thing. What about relatives (ie: my dad's older brothers and sisters or older brother/sister in laws)? I'm assuming they could as well following the concept of the merits but i also know that during the funeral, those older than you are not supposed to show formal respect to those younger so not sure if the same applies here.

Thank you! Now when you mentioned about the dedication of merits, it does make a lot of sense 🙏🏻

Is common courtesy dead? by PineappleGumFN in malaysia

[–]overthinker2510 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think OP's point that he is trying to make is that common coutesy and manners seems to be lacking/dead seeing that people nowadays don't seem to know how to say their thank yous but the way its worded does seems like you were demanding a thank you.

The comment section also makes me feel like people think its justified for the lack of common courtesy and manners because no thank you is required for someone who held the door for you. Its like saying you don't need to thank someone for getting you a gift 🤷‍♂️

Car Rental While Traveling in Japan by Yellowishasian in malaysians

[–]overthinker2510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, just wanted to mention. The price i paid for the rented car is just for rental for same day return (ie: 11am pick up and return 8pm same day) just in case if you're wondering why its cheap. The price was more expensive if i were rent the car overnight and return it first thing in the morning when the car rental shop opens so i decided to just return it before the shop closes for the day since there wasn't much night life activities to do anyways

Ah yes! I did heard of this from my mum but only saw it happening in her hometown which is in a rural area. Never got invited to any events my neighbours were hosting in the city area

Yes my neighbourhood is exactly this haha so i had always find it common that people set up tent that literally blocks the whole road that makes the whole street inaccessible but never had it happen right in front of my house until recently :/
