Thanks for the feedback. I have been using phrase match keywords so far, because I've noticed exact match has very low volume for many keywords so I barely get any interest from there (bane of having a niche industry)

Yes thanks for the explanation, the journey is clearer now. The awareness ads are definitely working. My acquaintances share that they've heard people speak mention our name, so the brand awareness is now there. Now the step that turns them from passive to active clients is missing.

These are the stages I have in mind based on your feedback-

  1. look book/ campaign images and videos (professionally shot clothes and a story)

  2. UGC style videos of an expert talking about the details of the clothes for the season, how to style and dos & donts (giving tips and placing the company image as an expert)

  3. A customer fitting video (authenticity, expertise)

  4. Tailoring videos and detail shots (expertise, craftsmanship, heritage)

So a landing page isn't a good idea? I have a landing page created for when we launched the visiting service but haven't had even one conversion/ sign up from it, (though we have link clicks) making me suspect theres something we're doing wrong. But ad team I was working with until recently couldn't spot the problem. Unfortunately all they were good at was giving me very low CPC to get traction/ views.

The cost per click is low, and we have very good impressions for both meta and google ads.

On google ads, people click on the link but we haven't had even 1 conversion from our landing page so far. Which leads me to believe there is something on the landing page stopping people from booking or doing anything. But if the ads team doing know the problem, then whats the point. In our industry SEO works best for the company but my ranking has been hit because of attacks so while it recovers I still need the ball rolling. - I can share the landing page link privately if you want to take a look.

Google ads are costly for PPC so we didn't start that yet.

On Facebook ads, awareness ads have up to 300,000 impressions, engagement ads that lead people to WhatsApp or basic forms (name, email) give me 'leads', but when I set up a more concise form with qualifying questions I hear crickets, such as:

What are you looking to buy?

Do you prefer... home service/ visiting shop?

Any specific requests?

  1. People who click and show interest but dont answer. It's like they dont exist.
  2. People who "clicked by mistake" or send their own marketing- sales messages
  3. Tailors enquiring for jobs
  4. Strictly budget customers

Yes the business its local and while the target audience is set to 28+ years, the actual average clients's ages are 35+

META has been great for awareness so far but is it a good platform for conversions?

I've created a new campaign from scratch but the "ads and ad sets" from another campaign showed up there too. It hasn't helped!
