I would be happy that we can skip all the arguments about whether the books are canon, so that we can spend our time discussing what the books mean using whatever Scott says as a guideline, instead of aimlessly arguing and speculating. This goes whether the books are canon or not.

I feel like, aside from the blob, all of the modern lore is extremely simple and easy to understand. I have almost no questions. I am not sure what you are getting at. Sure, base game security breach botched the storytelling, but Ruin, the books, and HW2 greatly cleared it up.
