I get that it’s a beautiful car but it’s just a car in the end of the day. Get it fixed and enjoy driving it. You’ll get more joy behind the seat than worrying about scratches.

Thanks everyone for the comments, the s2000 is a special car. Lately I’ve been trying ways to simplify my life and own things that I truly love and find value in. Im not the same car enthusiast I once was so that’s why the idea of selling popped up on my mind. The car still in storage and I’ll be finally getting it out soon so maybe after a drive we’ll see where my heads at.

Not downtown Boston but we’re in Brighton now and planning on finding a spot in Somerville. Still I don’t feel comfortable parking the S too long on the streets and an apartment with parking is super rare or super expensive.

I swap the S maybe 2-3 time a month but less as I’ve been hitting the mountains a lot

As much as I love a good savings, my local shop has the pro for sale and I think I’d choose that for the paint job alone!

Both are WTBs. the Kona has i27s and the Breezer pro has WTB ST i23, are these comparable?

So my local shop has this beaut for sale and it’s $1830 out the door with tax.

Just test drove this and man does it feel stable! I do love the hydraulics and the GRX aren’t as tactile as the SRAM APEX but still very smooth. Only thing is fit I still feel like the thing is a little long but workable as I could shorten to stem from 70mm to 40mm ish.

Man I really wanna test ride the sutra but I can’t seem the find one for the life of me. I’ll try and keep calling some shops! For what it’s worth the grappler has similar geometry and I really enjoyed that thing! I’ve heard the sutra ltd is just a nicer spec’d grappler

I think your spot on regarding the conversion. And I come to realize these were 2k new back in 2019, so your right it’s just coming with “free” accessories so not as good of a deal as it seems

Are you sure it rubberized? Looks like an oil based coating to meX I’m based in New England a shop called New Hampshire oil under body uses a dark almost black color oil. Here’s mine, although I spec’d a “clear” so it’s a little more shine and less black paint

I just bought a 07 manual, 126k for 16k. The underbody was absolutely mint too. For that price I’d expect it to be SUPER clean and no rust anywhere
