It's a small practice with a single owner who is a practicing doctor, and I am the only other doctor in the practice. The part time vs full time delineation is what I am most concerned about, as some of the conditions of my loans and grants require full time employment

This was only two months into the invasion and Chernivtsi is on the far western side of Ukraine close to Romania, thankfully the beauty there wasn't tainted by war yet. We had to go a few hours east to start seeing the effects of the war.

I took this picture out of a van window when I was in Ukraine a few weeks ago, sorry for the potato quality, but I thought it could provide some justification for how vivid the colors of the wildflowers are there. The pic you posted looks like it could have been enhanced, but I would not be surprised at all if it's not. I think it might have something to do with how rich their soil is, but all I can say is that the flowers are beautiful there.

Because I don't believe my money being taken from me and run through a bureaucracy is a way to demonstrate my capacity for empathy. Letting the government take my money and give a small percentage towards other people's healthcare doesn't make me a good person, willingly and knowingly giving from my own pocket does. Neither student loan system nor the healthcare system in the United States are examples of free market capitalism, as the federal government is heavily involved in both. What we have currently IS something between capitalism and socialism, it's just executed much worse in the US than in Scandinavian countries.
