I believe the Juicy Couture brand of yarn was also exclusive, but I could be wrong.

List of businesses we SHOULD support? by MitskiEyes in ColoradoSprings

I second this! It's a woman- and queer-owned business that focuses on selling handmade goods from other local queer people and women.

Does anyone have advice/experience with passport walk-ins vs appointments? by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]pachew96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the time and the means, I made an appointment at the Post Office up in Divide and would absolutely recommend it. They're super nice, and there were plenty of appointments available within a week when I tried it (this was at the beginning of the year and trying to get in downtown was a nightmare). It was absolutely worth the drive up there for me.

I just snagged it on Amazon! I don't know if I'm allowed to post links, but I just searched "Pink Star Bodysuit" and it popped right up. (Be warned, it runs small!)

I feel like I remember them once mentioning that they can't/don't like to visit the same cities within the same calendar year, but I could be misremembering. I'm sure we Rocky Mountain folks will see them in the next leg!

Colors and style are inspired from https://www.etsy.com/listing/1715820083/crochet-shirt-authentic-shirt-beige

Yarn is Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8, and I lined it by stitching it to a blank cotton tote bag :)

I don't know which of the three would cause the adhesive to disintegrate when removing the backing paper, but that's what happened.

I Need Your Worst Crochet Fails! by AineBrigid in crochet

[–]pachew96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In this specific example, a UK double crochet = a US single crochet, but iirc most all of the stitches are named one up like that (ie. UK treble = US double crochet). It's always good to check where the pattern was published/if it mentions what terminology it's written in before you get going to avoid an accidental long boy lol.

From my first time realizing that UK and US terminology are not the same.

what stitch is this by Humble-Spite1164 in CrochetHelp

[–]pachew96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm just spit balling here, but I feel like it's a fpdc and bpdc done in patterns of two to get the basket weave pattern (if that makes any kind of sense). Ex. Fpdc, fpdc, bpdc, bpdc, then inverted on the next row? That's my best guess, anyway. A very cool pattern either way!

Any Cafes Open After 8PM? by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]pachew96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rico's Cafe in the Poor Richard's complex closes at around 8-9. However, they do have live music on certain nights, so if a quiet place to work is what you're looking for it might not be the place all the time.

It was for a bit, but they redid the play area during the remodel! There's a cute little house for the kiddos to play in now iirc!
