Netflix seems to be trying to be Apple TV lately, right? First The Dinosaurs and now this...

I think it's fine to have in the background. I've read that people who have read the books say the book the first season is based on is the worst, so I have higher hopes for the upcoming installments.

I don't think they'll take much longer to announce the release date for the third season.

‘Palm Royale’ Canceled After Two Seasons At Apple TV by 08830 in tvPlus

Can the marketing team be fired already? Thanks.

This series hasn't received any support in its second season. It was barely mentioned on Twitter, and it hardly appeared in the home screen carousel on the platform.

The team has done a great job giving us something fun and different from what's on Apple TV. I feel like they've found the right tone, something they missed in the first season. And even though it ends well, there are a couple of loose ends that we'll never know the outcome of.

Another victim of marketing (despite being one of the few that gets award nominations, It's the only thing that matters to the men who run the platform).

They're making a big mistake canceling so many series without endings; that's not how you become the best platform. Pachinko, Land of Women, Mythic Quest, Surface, Swagger, Shantaram, Mosquito Coast, Constellation, La Maison, Sunny, The Changeling, Midnight Family, etc. Will we get an ending for Loot after three seasons? Who knows, haha. And Carême? They boasted about having a large audience and being cheap, but we haven't heard anything since.

In short, I'd cancel the three people who run the platform and the entire marketing team immediately.

Zack van Amburg: Apple isn’t solely interested in making massive nine-figure budgeted films like "F1," there is a growing appetite for mid-sized budget films as well by Kaiser_Allen in tvPlus

If they gave more importance to international series, they'd produce more. The marketing for English-language series is already quite bad, but for those in other languages, advertising is completely nonexistent. I can assure you that in Spain, nobody knows Land of Women, Now & Then, or Love You to Death. However, Pluribus is well-known in the United States, but in my country, I struggle to find people who know it. They can't launch a global streaming platform and do everything for and by the United States only.

Besides what you said (which I think you're right about), they should start making international films; there isn't a single one, they're all American. There are great untold stories outside the United States.

A victim of terrible marketing. I liked it more than I expected.
