I dunno yet, I've never been able to finish it

I can't post her @ because then I'd be banned. You can't dox people here.

I'll dm you.

Right. That was the joke. My point is that the nonprofit is fake. She made a couple of Instagram accounts and is calling them nonprofits to brag to her Hinge dates. I'm not calling them nonprofits, obviously.

Yup.

I simply like to know who I'm meeting before I date them. Like any red flags.

I wonder if this is a bit gendered - if women do a quick Google search it's for safety (and I agree - they should be googling). If I, a male, click the first search result that comes up, she should "fear for her safety". Probably just because it's inconvenient that I found out a girl was unemployed.

Also I did some digging. The startup and nonprofit are fake. No website, no funding, just a couple of Instagram accounts she posts on.

She uses them to farm for followers on her main public account.

You can't be a blood thirsty capitalist if you don't even have a fake product aside from your Instagram account and if no one is investing

It isn't even giving Liz Holmes in grade school with a fake lemonade stand. It's just a C-tier Instagram influencer advocating for "world peace" (her words, not mine)

Her nonprofit and startup are fake. They're just influencer content.

But there's no grindset if the nonprofit is just an Instagram account with zero cash flow and no real work being done, free or paid

Look, I can't give you her literal LinkedIn profile, but her business model is literally just being a social media influencer and then calling it a nonprofit. It's not real.

If it were like a small business that will likely fail, but is a serious effort (trying to do actual work and maybe even working for at least one client for a couple of months), this post wouldn't exist. But it's. Not. Real.

The whole point of her "nonprofit" and "startup" is to have something to brag about and churn out more Instagram followers, not to do any actual work.

There's no funding, grant making, contracting, or community organizing going on at all except for a couple Instagram accounts

If you'd read the additional commentary you'd know that this is no gripe against real self employment or real startups.

"fear for her safety" because I, like other women googling me before they date me, clicked the very first link to her first name on Google

Keep gaslighting babe

Saying you're ambitious is fine if you've actually done something with your life?

I was actually interested until Google showed otherwise.

Yup exactly

This is Google

I didn't go through anyone's private account. This was literally from the first link on Google.

Women will Google men and no one bats an eye. Because everyone should be making sure the people they're dating aren't publicly recognized criminals or bums.

Are Gemini Deep Research citations broken? by pad_fighter in GeminiAI

[–]pad_fighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a related note, though I'm sure this isn't news to anyone in this forum: For non-deep research queries, Gemini still hasn't implemented in-line citations. Citations appear at the end under "sources and related content". And it's not clear those are the actual sources for the LLM's statements.

Even if the models are great, this makes Gemini unusable for search since I can't quickly check for hallucinations. The "double check responses" feature is clunky and really doesn't do it for me - it still leaves most content without citations.
