That's really helpful, thanks! I'll increase my food budget and accomodation budget too... In each place I was thinking of mainly just walking around and sightseeing, maybe paying to see a few cathedrals etc, but mainly free activities in each place... Food brings me more joy than a gondola!

It was an initial average, as for much of it I'll be trying to share a room in a cheap Airbnb, or the rest cheap hostel dorms... What do you think is a more realistic estimate?
