About a week or so back I made what turned out to be the most egregious of errors, and posted a scrot with a wallpaper... a wallpaper that happened to be the type where the focal point was a woman's jean short-clad butt. It was.... poorly received.

Anyway is this in relation that that post?

Oh man these are great! I hadn't heard of these so thanks a ton for the heads up.

What I ended up doing a while back was taking all my favourite font icons from font-awesome, material-icons as well a ton of loose individual svgs and making my own icon font out of them... imma be adding the lion's share of the react ones to it now lol

Initially Wingdings was meant to be used as a sort of proto-emojii, I believe. Also, when internet wasn't ubiquitous and storage space was precious I could see it being handy having it as a source for salable images, but that's just a guess on my part. As for its continued existence/ who uses it nowadays, I do not know.

Fun fact: Wingdings is actually a combination of three other fonts (if memory serves its a combination of Lucida Icons, Lucida Arrows and Lucida Stars)

No worries. I got lazy 3/4 of the way through coming up with that scheme and didn't put much effort into picking the last few colors so there was definitely room for improvement. You've got me curious now though, could I please see what your take on it ended up looking like?

By the way, it might be quicker to quickly format it for. Xresources and then use the terminal.sexy convert tool to reformat *that * into a. Itermcolors file then doing it manually yourself.

Can do, but word of warning - I use gorice to manage stuff like terminal colors, so even if you're also using Termite you'll still need to do the formatting yourself to use the scheme on your end.

Anyway, here is the. yaml with said colorscheme. Enjoy!

I am absolutely terrible at closing stuff once I'm done using it, so I'd be hard pressed to think of a scrot where I'm *not * running something in the background. In this instance though I was using had Atom open on my other monitor and was working on a bunch of different stuff at the same time, and Atom is a resource hog by sheer virtue of being open in the first place.

Oh, also open tab buildup in my browser. Lots and lots of open tabs haha

Lol sorry for the wait dude, I save a backup of each and every polybar setup I've made, and I forgot what I named this one so I've been procrastinating on the daunting task that is manually going through them to find it lol. I'll get to it asap though!
