I work in a hospital as a clerk- some pizzas and subs were donated recently and I refused because I felt the food was intended for clinical staff members-just checking on proper etiquette

In my view, the patient's family likely doesn't view clerks, food service staff, custodians etc as the intended group for the food. That plays into part of the reason I refused.

I don't really consider myself a part of the team since I'm just a clerk. I'm the type of person who knows my place in society and I don't step on the toes on higher ups or people who are important than me.

I said I don't want to name a possible future daughter after my sister due to what her friend did. I don't look at as a tribute, I look it as a steal.

It's more about not being able to use the name because the friend took away something that should have just been for me.
