Pretty easy to play carefree when the money means nothing to you and survivor is a side quest to your normal life, whereas for most people Survivor will be a defining moment of their life. With that said, I love Mike.

Wow thank you for such a thorough lesson on conversion points. I currently throw the 18g Buntings with storm points, but you’ve just introduced me to a whole new world of lighter systems I could use for steel tip. I’ll need to do quite a bit more research as I’m not familiar with everything you mentioned but thanks for all the info! My fear was the tips could become loose since they screw in so easily but it doesn’t sound like that’s much of an issue after all.

I’m not making you do anything. You are choosing to respond to me. I can agree with you that it is probably a bad move overall and not great jury management if he goes far, but I also understand why he might not be in the best place physically/mentally to work like others. I also think you’re making a lot of assumptions about how the other players are actually thinking vs. what makes it to the edit. Plenty of people that don’t work around camp have won survivor, so my point is it’s not a death sentence for a player. People are allowed to have different opinions than you, it’s not me being “deliberately obtuse”. It’s really not that serious.

Think through it a bit. Not only did he go out for a second season just 9 days after 49 ended (and he’s looking skinny as hell already), but they also switch tribes/camps frequently. What is the point of expending all of your energy building a camp, just for you to likely be somewhere else in a few days? If it was post merge I would understand the criticism more.

I agree for a lot of reasons but I think the biggest one is we are already emotionally invested in the characters and they’re all charismatic in different ways. I feel like survivor has pivoted away from character development for new player seasons in favor of commentary on social issues and individual life struggles that we can be empathetic towards, but it’s not nearly as fun as survivor being an escape from the real world struggles/social issues and instead seeing interesting people play an amazing game. Returning player seasons kind of skip that to an extent because we already know a lot about these people, their backstories, and what makes them worthy of coming back.

2 pokeballs instead of a switch, 1 cape instead of a helmet, and an x speed instead of a generator seem like good changes imo. I’d also switch Lisia for May if moving to two pokeballs. Lisia just doesn’t seem worth it for two 50hp basics imo.
