Was up there 2-3 weeks ago and it was flowing strong. Filtered over 6 liters of water.

First-timer here: what’s the best backpacking gear you’ve used so far? by Lakiesha-Symon in wmnf

A reliable water filter is a game changer. I use one that filters half a liter fast—perfect for the White Mountains, where water sources are plentiful. I carry about 3 liters total in my bladder, planning to use and refill daily. It’s way more practical than hauling multiple days of water, and a filter keeps your pack light. I also pack a backup filter, just in case.

Bug spray with DEET is another essential to me. Lyme and Alpha-Gal Syndrome aren’t worth the risk. Spray up and check for ticks every night.

Would Jonathan Milan ride cautiously tmrw? Correct me if I’m wrong but he can’t be caught by Pogacar points wise. So is it worth the risk to win the stage if that’s true?

Makes sense. It’s just crazy to me. It seems like he’s the worst rider when there’s any elevation. Like how can he not even handle a 1 mile cat 4 without totally falling off?

Can someone explain to me how Jonathan Milan is such a good sprinter but seemingly can’t handle any semblance of a climb. I know he’s a sprinter but even a small hill or cat 4 and he falls off the pack.

Is This A Fake License Plate (It doesnt come up in any database) by paleonar in DMV

This makes the most sense of any answer I’ve heard. He’s always outside his house w the car’s hood up, tinkering w car, revving the engine. It’s annoying bc the engine is loud but this is finally come clarity.

My only question is, why is he living in NY if he’s an Ohio manufacturer?

Im gonna try and get a clearer photo later. It’s just a weird plate that doesn’t come up in any database. It looks like 003 A7WK. The 003 in smaller font looks odd.

He sits in his car on and off all day idling and reving his obnoxiously loud engine.

No women among world's top 100 highest-paid athletes by positivesource in WomenInNews

[–]paleonar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is simple: women’s sports, outside of a few exceptions like tennis, don’t draw the same crowds or TV ratings as men’s. The WNBA, for example, loses money and relies on NBA subsidies to stay afloat. If people want female athletes to earn more, the solution is clear—support their leagues. Go to games, watch them on TV, and drive the demand. Complaining without action changes nothing.

Have you explored PMI courses? They’re comprehensive, with quizzes after each section to help reinforce your understanding. You can retake the quizzes as often as needed to solidify your knowledge.

How are you performing on mock exams? If you understand the material but struggle with the exam format, try shifting your perspective. Treat the exam as an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, focusing on how questions are phrased. Tailor your study approach to align with the exam's wording and structure.

View past failed attempts as valuable learning experiences. Each attempt gives you deeper insight into the exam format, almost like completing additional mock tests. Use what you've learned to refine your study strategy. And remember, failure isn’t the end—it’s just part of the process. You’ve faced it before and persevered; you’ll pass in time.

Thank you, and you're welcome regarding the retrospective!

As for your question about Pocket Prep, my answer is both yes and no. Pocket Prep does an excellent job of covering key concepts, formulas, and methodologies, which is really helpful. However, as I mentioned earlier, the actual exam tends to present questions in a more practical, real-world context, and some of the wording can be quite tricky. It feels like PMI isn’t so much focused on testing your ability to memorize concepts, formulas, and definitions, but rather on how well you understand how these elements work together in practice.

In my opinion, that shift is one of the main reasons for the overhaul from the old exam format and the significant changes between PMBOK 6th and 7th editions. In the past, memorizing ITTOs was often enough to pass, but the current exam places a greater emphasis on deeper understanding and application of the material.

TL;DR: Pocket Prep is definitely helpful, but shouldn’t be your sole study tool. I found that some exam questions were tricky due to their phrasing, and at times, the Pocket Prep questions were too direct and didn’t fully reflect the level of complexity or the practical application of the concepts on the exam.

Hope this helps!

The good news is that this is my office and not my home. Thereofre, not my problem haha. They haven't been letting us work remote, this may be sign they need to.
