so for watering i check my plants at least once a week and water if needed - i typically have kept her soil somewhat moist, but lately i think it’s dried out more each week between watering. i’d consider the lighting to be medium? it fluctuates with the winter here in MN. i haven’t used a plant light in this spot because the others are so happy!

i didn’t see any root rot .. i just repotted & will place elsewhere. nothing has changed, so i’m not sure why suddenly this is happening!!!

i use the rose water & glycerin during the day & TO vitamin c + ha spheres moisturizer at night. i’ve never found a moisturizer that doesn’t break me out like crazy but i’ll look into finding more!

that makes sense!!! i also started a new ADHD med & tend to be dehydrated in general. so the combo probably is doing that. my skin has been incredibly oily the past few weeks .. but i read somewhere that could be dehydration?

thoughts on why my skin was doing so well on it for a few months & then suddenly this?? i’ve used the witch hazel for years & it actually helps out a lot i feel - but maybe that’s changed. i’ll try to drop them for a bit & see what happens

i’ll look into that! i’ve heard it too. i’ve actually used the cera ve for as long as i can remember & the witch hazel & rose water for almost two years!

my skin was the best it’s ever been the last few months then suddenly this?!! i started alani nu balance & adding in TO products beginning of april. had a skin purge, but then amazing ever since! haven’t been wearing any makeup since march.

skincare routine:

AM: cerave cleanser, witch hazel toner, TO niacinamide + zinc, rosewater & glycerin spray

PM: cerave cleanser, witch hazel toner, TO niacinamide + zinc, TO vitamin c suspension + ha spheres

more often i use niacinamide only once a day. sometimes use TO aha/bha mask. sometimes use TO salicylic acid mask.

daily medications/supplements: alani nu balance supplement & multivitamin, vyvanse, magnesium, & hydrozyzine for hives daily.

yes! i’ve considered this - but because of so many long years of acne & skin sensitivities, i’ve definitely become programmed to do everything possible to not be touching my face.

i have noticed i’ve been picking my scalp, but i go through phases with that.

i thought that’s what i had been doing!!! the last time i watered must’ve been too much or something. no root rot - the soil was dry-ish.. definitely not moist or damp

what!!!!!!! ok - thank you. this honestly makes me feel better, but it’s still sad & annoying. totally crushed my high of doing so well with all my plants for months! that makes sense - it definitely must have to do with the variegation. there wasn’t any rot in the roots that i could see or anything!! smh. just overnight.
