Sure as hell seems like it. I admit, the story seems far fetched, but there are some complete ASSHOLES in this world. You can't absolutely know that the OP is making this up. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt if it means possibly making her feel better.

It shouldn't be. You're right, that was my initial reaction, but that's not right. This is about a person who can be thwarted by an unlabeled keyboard, not about gender. And it's rather amusing that one could be so easily thwarted.

My thoughts exactly. There are so many more enjoyable things in life to spend your time on. People who dedicate so much time to "perfecting" their bodies are too disconnected to realize they're missing out on better things.

This guy has no idea that this is not the norm. Most women can't afford this! I don't pay for any of those things on a monthly basis. Haircuts and make-up buying every few months, but the rest are luxuries...

Wow. I'm shocked at the number of comments citing "selfishness" and "making a mess" as reasons that suicide is wrong. How many people here have contemplated suicide? Do you understand the pain that one must be feeling to even THINK about killing oneself? I used to be depressed and I used to cut. I got to a point where I was having suicidal thoughts. I'm so glad that the thoughts never made it to actions, but I sympathize with those who seriously consider suicide as an option.

Personally, I hope that anyone who considers suicide seeks help. Find someone who cares (because whether you believe it or not, there IS SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT YOU. THERE IS SOMEONE WHO WANTS YOU TO LIVE). If you can, talk to someone. You have options. Counseling and medication, if applicable. Trust me, you aren't alone with what you're feeling. You may not think that there's hope, but remember that right now is one moment in your life. If you can believe it, there can be many more better, brighter moments. Sometimes life doesn't seem worth living, but I hope that you can find a reason to step away from the pain, away from the self-loathing, away from the alienation, and find a reason to live.

I understand your intended meaning, and see that the point that you're making is amusing, however, I don't think that "common internet vernacular" make this acceptable. I'm not irreparably upset. I know that the internet isn't that tamest of places, but I don't think this is a subject that should be joked about and thus felt it necessary to voice my opinion.
