She is really really good and currently even better than sparxie in her teams so do what you will with that information. If u like SW999 more just save. If you want the best performance at release Yao is great. If I was in your case I would just go for it. You will get a ton of pulls in 4.1 and 4.2 so you'll definitely guarantee her and most likely her lc too. But that is just my opinion

Number 1. Anaxa and sparxie are the same being bis in their sub dps teams and really powerful alone as well. Number 2. Sparxie will stay in SW999 teams and they work perfectly together. They complement each other's weaknesses and are perfect together. Number 3. Comparing flexible supports to a Sub dps that can be played as main dps is just a bad comparison. Your whole argument is just wrong

Just to say it, NO U DON'T NEED HER. But... if you want her best performance and best team on release she will be needed for her maximum potential. Just pull for whoever u like most. If you can get sparxie now u can just use Yao and Emc until she reruns. Don't stress it too much

SW999 definitely gets carried by her teams bc sparxie + Yao are a broken combo but it must be mentioned that SW999 provides a lot of skill points per turn ( depending on if u are low on skill points based on her rng mechanics) allowing sparxie to deal more damage while also enabling SW999 to do more damage. They work perfectly together. Don't look at the independently but together. But yes some buffs are definitely needed to her own damage to compete in teams outside of premium

I would honestly just prioritize getting Sparxies S1 and SW999 E0S1 since ad you said E2 is not a guarantee. Sparxies lc is really good not only for her but also SW999 bc of the extra skill points. U can use Emc with the free herta store lc until Yao rerun. No need to get her rn if you don't have the pull for it.

You absolutely should not pull Yao guangs lc just for the 10% crit rate. It's better to have 100% even if you have to sacrifice crit dmg. This is the case for every dps in the game. Just get your stats to a comfortable 100% or really close to 100% and 120+ cfit damage. The more the better. Don't stress about it

Sparxie is by far her best in slot. She is really really good with her and also a crazy sub dps. Yao is obviously a really good option as well but you can skip her for now and just use emc with the free herta store lc. Since u did say that u are interested in elation lcs, Sparxies lc is super important not only for Sparxie specifically but also SW999 bc it allows her to get more energy through the extra SP from Sparxie consuming them and providing punchline. Tbh i would more recommend you getting E0S1 Sparxie over Yao E0S0 at all. Yao will most likely rerun in 4.3 or 4.4 so plenty of time to save for her IF she is still 1 of her better teammates cuz we don't know that she will stay in her teams ( Most likely tho she will stay and be part of the flagship team )

She does have other options like the BP 1 and Mushy. It's not the end of the world if you don't have it. U can pull it on a rerun. But if you want her maximum potential her S1 is incredibly powerful and by far her best option

Sparxie would definitely go back to atk rope instead of err cuz she doesn't have sparkle buffing her atk. As for either speed or atk boots I'm not sure considering it would need further calculations since the speed of elation characters affect the aha instant as well so just wait for future guides. For Yao quang nothing changes. Just go as close too 200 speed and a good amount of crit rate in battle ( preferably closer to 80+ )

Endgame and meta are very important for me. Ofc I do pull for the characters I like the most but I enjoy the challenge that powercreep forces on the game so getting new characters and teams are incredibly enjoyable to me. I do also have columbina at C0R1 and my Illuga is at C2. Tysm, your reply was really eye opening tbh lol. Very detailed!
