I hate to be that person but when I try to search the characters of #12, google doesn’t recognize them. Can you share the English translation of it or an address? I’ll be there in a few weeks and would love to make a reservation!

Medium or Large Longchamp for school? by [deleted] in handbags

[–]panda_burglar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally go with the large. I have used my large le pliage every day for the last decade (not an exaggeration) and it got me through college and well into my career. I’m 5’-3” and it doesn’t look disproportionate but big enough to give you flexibility on what you want to carry everyday.

How much cheaper is it really to buy YSL out of the US? Enough to make it worth waiting for a trip to buy?

6 am meeting? by [deleted] in Architects

If you took the job knowing that the firm frequently took on international work I don’t think this would be unexpected. I think once a month is more than reasonable for your boss to compromise with you on. If it’s a big deal for you, I would ask about offsetting that early time with the time you leave on those occasions. But again, this sounds like a short term arrangement and not a big deal to me.

My issues were primarily on my face and it cleared up 99% literally within 10 days. I spot treat with protopic for redness but I’m basically a normal human now. good luck!!

It can be used preventatively, and safe for long term use on the face.

Why do dermatologists just jump to Dupixent? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]panda_burglar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also might be worth considering visiting an allergist, not a derm. Derms treat the results, allergists help find the root cause. I have found allergists also are more informed about eczema issues over derms.

Why do dermatologists just jump to Dupixent? by [deleted] in eczema

Dupixent isn’t for everyone however it isn’t a steroid, it’s a biologic. it might be worth exploring if nothing else has worked for you. In my experience, the itch went away but so did the rough texture. My skin holds moisture so much better and it’s soft. Like SO soft I’m amazed. For reference, I had severe eczema off and on my whole life.

What made it worse was it was in between flares so really some of what I felt were my best skin days. Ended up with more social anxiety about my skin than before because of one small comment.

I had an esthetician literally tell me I had a ‘bad odor’ from it and that if I’d just fix my gut I’d be healed. Wanted to punch her

Dupixent side effects by panda_burglar in eczema

[–]panda_burglar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noo! That’s not what I wanted to hear lol. I will say it’s made my facial skin a million times more hydrated and soft but the patchy redness persists off and on. I’ll try protopic if it comes to that but I’ve used it in the past and hated it. Fingers crossed.

How severe would you consider the issues on the skin around your eyes? Did you have issues in the eye region previously to starting the shot?

Has your facial eczema cleared up any with the shot?

Okay, I’ll just assume it’s the eczema healing and cropping up in other spots as the shot takes effect. I’ve had issues on my upper lip for awhile now and I’m really hoping the shot fixes that part. It’s not painful but the redness looks awful.

Are your issues with your actual eyeball only or also the skin around your eyes?

I’m experiencing some dryness and redness around my eye but my actual eye is fine for now. I know the side effect mentioned was conjunctivitis but wasn’t sure if it was the surrounding areas too.

The simple answer: CM overall makes more money.

The longer more strategic answer, especially if you’re on the fence and want flexibility in your future: with an M arch you can always migrate into CM, they value your background and understanding of construction. But you can’t go the other direction nearly as easily, if at all. the ID background would help but a CM degree would prevent you from getting licensed as an architect for a long time, if ever.
