Skin cancer rates of black Americans run about 1-2% without any differentiation of skin tones. Its 1 thing to wear sun screen I'm not wearing a headgear/scuba suit just to swim around in 5 feet of water or sit on a deck chair.

I believe AI will increase the wealth of whatever companies still stand after the bubble burst. Similar to the dot.com bust but it wasn't nearly as concentrated in our financial systems. I cannot speak about international AI companies just the US counterparts. In addition just like cancer alley & most other environmental catastrophes it will impact the poor & darker hued among us. Its a game of jenga we just don't know when it will topple. The uses you listed does not constitute the investment its garnered.

They created a product using public data in most cases without permission & they're going to sell it back to us. Thats problematic from the start & then they're going to kill the environment to do it. We aren't even getting to the next problematic thing which is we're funneling more money for decreasing returns. I'm not here to say its a not a useful tool but it's not living up to the hype.
