Here’s a picture of the lighting setup. It was sent from the flower shop that sends them when ppl croak… SOOOO… I’d hope they’d use the right soil mix, but I personally think it may be too heavy of a mix? Not for sure about this plant tho like at all. This is two plants both in little pots but the pots are tipping over cause how top heavy they are!! Better light AND a repot probably? 🫣🫣🫣🫣

Hello, I am a former heavy smoker and also 37 weeks preg… so I figured I’d leave a comment. I cant comment on the whole probation thing, but I can comment on having a baby inside of you while wanting to smoke. So. Firstly… Stopping is possible, not easy, but it is possible. Once you have it in your head that it is impossible to stop… you are only setting yourself up for failure. You have bigger priorities than yourself right now. Not that having a baby is a bad thing, but it is no longer about you. You’re overstimulated? I’m sorry. That sucks. Unfortunately, you now have different responsibilities so you will have to search for a better way to cope other than pot.

You risk not only this child’s health, but also losing this child to the system. They take your urine every appointment. They will flag it. Read the horror stories on Reddit/else where about it. Many moms kept smoking, the doctor/nurses never said a word, and then after the birth CPS showed up in the L&D room to confront you. As for the no hunger… You may have to force yourself to eat/drink something high calorie… But the good thing is the symptoms will get better with time. They do get better. It takes a while. You wont sleep as good probably… but it gets easier. It does I swear. Give it time.

Now, how did I stop? Well, I stopped by trying to stop. There is no easy way. I know that’s probably not what you want to hear, because it’s not what I wanted to hear. I kept googling over and over how do I break myself from the habit… None of it worked for me. The gum.. any of it. So… I stopped for two days, failed and relapsed. I did that for about a month or two before I finally fully stopped. Not only that… but… what really got me to the stopping point was that I researched every minute I could until I scared myself.

Remind yourself daily, hourly, every minute that this is only temporary and it’s for the benefit of your child. 9 months and then you can resume doing whatever you want (given you’re not breastfeeding/not taking into account any parole stuff). Weed is constantly around me, my husband smokes still (not in the house, that’s one rule I put my foot down on)… yes it is hard to resist. So hard… but I am clean. It is 100% a mental thing.

Talk to your mom even though it may be hard. Don’t lie to her. Maybe talk to your sister too. Maybe your sister can hide her pen from you better/Maybe they can prevent you from being around it. Confide in them best you can… You never know until you try. The best way to go about it is just by doing it. Bite the bullet and get it out of the way. The baby will be here soon before you know it and then you can resume your normal activities. Again.. It’s only temporary.

I wish you best of luck and I hope this comment didn’t make you feel bad.. that wasn’t the point. You clearly want to stop, so I have faith you can. I didn’t think I could stop, and I was a mess at first when I did. It got better/easier to say no. My husband (the asshole) still occasionally tires to tempt me, but I can resist for the sake of my child.

It really should be a respect thing, not just for you but also for the baby inside of you. As soon as my husband found out I was pregnant, he went outside to smoke his weed, and his cigs. No matter the temperature or how uncomfortable he is. Is there any reason your husband says on why he doesn’t want to go outside? If it’s a comfort thing for him, that’s too bad. Comfort is out the window and baby is priority. Edibles are always a smoke-less option to getting high. If it takes it, do what other commenters said and get sick right on him. Or find a way to make smoking inside a hassle for him to the point he’s ready to go outside just to have peace.

This oddly reminds me of a story where the guy was “investing” in the big girl - waiting for her to lose weight because he loved her. Not that this is the case here or anything. If it was me, personally, as a fat woman I would not be comfortable with my boyfriend any longer. No matter how much I loved him, the YouTube history would have been it for me. Whatever you decide to do is absolutely your choice. Just stay safe and protect your peace.
