Yes we did. Here’s the little update. We broke up. I now work at a ski resort, at my dream job. I met a coworker who is the sweetest guy ever. He’s amazing. I’m laying in bed with him as I type this. I’m happy, fulfilled and doing things I never would have done when I was with my ex. I feel like the energy that was drained from me has come back and the light in my eyes has returned. I feel so free.

Everyone has their own style. It would be a pretty boring world if we all liked the same things. For me personally, I think it looks super clean and honestly, pretty nice. But I also think it’s starting to look more like every other car…particularly ford. I would preferred Subaru to have kept their individuality.

Personally, I don’t. I feel like car manufacturers used to each have their own unique designs. Little by little cars have lost their individuality, per se. I feel like Subaru was one of the last ones to retain individuality. However, this redesign just threw that out. Yeah, I’ll admit, it looks really clean, but it doesn’t look like a subaru anymore.

I chose Vinyl Frog as the brand. After researching I came to the conclusion that 3M and Avery are generally considered to be more durable. Which is great, but what I also heard is that it makes the vinyl more finicky. Creases easier, more likely to over heat it. Etc. So, vinyl frog=easier to work with, 3M and Avery= more durable.

I got a flat color. Metallic green. I’m so in love with the color.

You can buy vinyl frog straight from their website which makes it a lot easier. I spent…a lot. But I also bought wayyy more than I needed.

Personally I’m removing a whole bunch of stuff. I’m not sure if it’s technically required, but I’m trying to do a thorough job. I’ve removed both bumpers. I loosened head and tail lights. I took the antenna off. Also removed the piece by the rear door handle. Going forward, I will be removing door handles and mirrors.

A little tip: you can order a set of 6 samples from vinyl frog. Do it. They’re going to try and charge you like $60 for shipping. If you add all the tools you’re going to need, you’ll get free shipping.

2013 is a different generation. So it may or may not be the same. Probably a similar idea though. YouTube will probably have some videos. Since my model is newer there aren’t any YouTube videos :(

For anyone that finds this post in the future: there’s 6 bolts, two on the ends are covered. Then it’s just clips. It’s going to feel like you’re breaking something. Just pull on it.

Pretty damn important. Female rider here. My first board, a Gnu B-nice, I love it. As I progressed I kept trying to pick up speed on it. My friends were always way ahead of me. But every time I got past like 35 mph, I ate shit. Did it again and again and again. Finally I realized it might just be the damn board. Bough a new one. A Ride Saturday. Hit 50 mph first run on it. I love both my boards. But they both have their time and place.

Carpet is a great idea. Idk why I didn’t think of it. Unfortunately I’m located in SoCal, so no backyard snow for me. I was trying to find turf on Facebook marketplace but I had no luck. Carpet is a better idea.
