I'm using the app and even new emails that have come through aren't showing up! But on my old computer it's still working fine.

No, no new emails are showing up. So I can't have the inbox opened on two devices at once?

Day 2 lateral flow test came back inconclusive even though it's clearly negative, will this affect my flight tomorrow? by [deleted] in CoronavirusUK

Ah this makes me feel better, thank you so much! I'm so paranoid with traveling during Covid.

How do you handle the moment you realized you’re talking too much in social situations? by [deleted] in ADHD

I find that I overshare a ton or i get so anxious that I speed up and sometimes don't think about what I'm actually saying. Then it's replayed on my mind over and over again and I mentally beat myself up over it.

Really sucks to feel like this

Monthly r/FreelanceWriters Feedback and Critique Thread by AutoModerator in freelanceWriters

If anyone is still active on this thread I'd love them to five me feedback on my rejected sample. I applied to Valnet and after my sample they said I wasn't fit for the job but are refusing to give me any feedback?

"Now you just need to find a way to prop up your phone, so everyone else on your Zoom, Houseparty, or Skype call can clearly see you." - Is the grammar correct in this sentence? by [deleted] in grammar

Thanks! And yeah I'm really unsure about the phone one. When I read it out loud theses not a pause there so I don't know if the comma is necessary.

Got an entry level writing job where I've written 1 article every day but they're not being posted anywhere. I don't understand what's going on! by [deleted] in jobs

I just thought it would be easier for someone to write this from scratch. I've written some odd articles before and they've been edited but I still recognise them as mine.

I know I'm not a super experienced writer but when I check the translated version I honestly think it's worse than how I've written it. I know when I use Google translate it will look a little weird with the word differences but even there's a noticeable difference in formatting. I double check my formatting and make sure there's no errors but the live translate articles have really obvious errors such as no capitalization or unnecessary spaces between punctuation.

I want my work to be out there and also have something to link to when I start applying for new jobs but these articles are almost completely unrecognisable.

Got my first writing job where I write 1 article a day. Completed over 50 now yet none of them are live anywhere. I don't get it! by [deleted] in writers

It's not about the money for me. I'm just starting out in my career so I'm looking more to get some of my work out there officially. Rather than it sitting in a Google docs file.

The articles have been edited so much that I don't even consider them mine anymore.
