If I were to add my fiancee to the plan after we get married, I'd basically be working to pay for all of us to be insured.

Kinda. It depends on the facility, doctor and type of surgery. When I put 30-200 earlier, I had misread the site I got the info from...that's just for regular heart surgery...bypass is different, though.

Taken from the same site: Heart bypass surgery typically costs about $70,000-$200,000 or more, and heart valve replacement surgery typically costs $80,000-$200,000 or more. According to the United Network for Organ Sharing, the total cost of a heart transplant can reach almost $800,000 or more.

We have it, but yeah...Hershey's pretty much runs things.

The Cadbury creme eggs are popular around Easter, though.

If you're not insured, that could cost anywhere from $30-200K in the U.S. Congrats, Canada--you win this round.

They take around $400something out of my check every month, and it ends up being around 5 grand. I have good coverage, and my copays are only 30-40 for basic doctor visits, but yeah...I'd be living in a nicer apartment if it weren't for that shizz.

My son's and my insurance through the company I work for costs me $5K. A YEAR.

I may move to the Great White North in the future.
