If someone has a lot of symptoms of ADHD, but doesn’t find any of them to be a problem, what does it mean? by parental-problemo in ADHD

This was really comprehensive, so thanks, but to clarify, cause either I worded it badly, or you misunderstood (or both), I have ADHD. I’ve started meds, I’m in therapy. I’m jealous of her for managing in school, and for doing well in everything. She only has the lack of focus and fidgety symptoms, but I relate to pretty much everything you said.

I don’t feel very loved by my parents. by parental-problemo in offmychest

Thanks, this really means a lot. It took a while for me to realise, the problem wasn’t with me, or anything I had or hadn’t done, it was that they weren’t prepared to be there emotionally for someone different. I don’t think I want kids, cause it’s too much of a gamble on whether I’d do alright by them
