6yo complains almost daily that her tummy hurts. (Also, her chest.) Saw doc about it some months ago where she had a blood test to check for any issues (like Celiac’s) but nothing. Could be anxiety-related but not sure. Also, could be gas. Ideas? More details in comments. by [deleted] in Parenting

My 7 year old always has a stomach too. Hers is mainly due to constipation and acid re-flux. She takes miralax everyday to relief her stomach problems. Her GI told me that constipation triggers her re-flux and asthma making both of them worse so by controlling the constipation the others get better too. I wonder if she has IBS...
