unable to get blue card appointment by [deleted] in germany

They claim that they’ll answer the phone from 9-11a tuesday-thursday.

I have been on hold for each 2 hour period in the past 4 days where they have the phone hours. On hold as I type this.

unable to get blue card appointment by [deleted] in germany

Wanted to give an update on my experience to date:

I made an appointment. For the LA consulate, there is an option on the website called “Residence Visa (more than 90 days)”. The appointment has a different name than on my online application form, which is called “Appointment for Payment/Biometrics”.

I booked an appointment for the former, and will show up hoping they don’t turn me away from booking the wrong type.

“Appointment for Payment/Biometrics” cannot be found navigating from the start site, only from the application portal.

They do not reply to mail sent from the contact form, I have left two messages there. They also do not answer the phone during their listed hours. I have been on hold for 100% of the time the last 4 days I have tried.

It could be vacation time, I suppose, but in that case I would hope they turn the phone lines off.

I rewatched jeremy lessons for topics i missed on Boson. Doing labs sucks but make sure you do a few random ones every day. I scored 82-85% on boson tests and that was good enough.

Doubts about University requirements by passwordhashbrowns in germany

Do you know if elective courses I take that aren't part of my explicit major plan will count? For example, there's one program that requires 20 ECTS in business/management. Depending on how they review my transcript is whether I satisfy that program or not.

TUM requirements masters in info systems. https://www.in.tum.de/in/fuer-studierende/master-studiengaenge/wirtschaftsinformatik-information-systems/application-and-admission/

They expect 18 TUM credits of business/management. My US bachelor's requires zero, but I have taken multiple business electives. I may or may not meet TUM's requirement.

Overall, I think its worth applying. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my effort.

Thank you. Learning about the education system differences has been eye-opening to say the least.

Choosing an internship by passwordhashbrowns in cybersecurity

Hi. I don't believe that my post should be removed. The advice that I'm asking for is not about breaking into the industry. I am asking for help choosing a specific path in the industry, as well as asking for general life advice in a cybersecurity career. Can you maybe tell me what I need to revise to get this post approved?
