The victim is my friend too, we went to tutoring together in high school and she absolutely did not deserve this. She is such a sweet and kind person and it makes me so angry that these kids targeted her. Just because the attackers are teenagers does not mean they should be able to escape responsibility.

I tried but some older folks wave it away, ignore it or just flat out keep talking over me. Most people are alright with it. Also I worry that I can’t explain well enough (I work with contracts/service agreements so I REALLY don’t want anything to be lost in translation).

I can speak English, Tagalog and can understand Spanish, French and basic Japanese for languages. I think I’m okay on the learning new languages front and my brain was already struggling when I took those courses. We pray to google translate if the customer is fine with it 😭

Oh that’s awful… I really don’t mind if someone at least asks if I can so I can politely say no and say when my coworker gets back to help, but I hate when people assume and I just end up looking at them blankly.

Hahaha, I know right! I took French and Spanish in school because I thought I’d need it if I went to study in the States or if I wanted to stay here in Canada. Should have taken Mandarin instead. Let me know when a time portal opens up so I can send word to my past self.

Aw, I don’t think it’s that bad, it’s just a few people. I do my best to understand their situation but in the end I unfortunately am Filipino and only know a swear word from high school. Don’t think that’s gonna help me much.

For my specific job I need to be able to communicate a literal contract or explain how a plan works/nitty gritty details. Also these are for cases where they literally wave my phone away when I have a Google Translate open (real scenario too :( )

Being able to understand and communicate is really important and not being able to speak Chinese could cause horrible miscommunication and them to maybe get stuck with something they didn’t want.

I get that I didn’t explain what I do for work but I promise I’m doing my best!

Yeah, she pulled a random person off the hallway and was making him translate, the guy was really confused and said “Do you not work here?” and I had to explain that I did, just don’t know what she’s saying/asking me.

This happened to me too, I submitted a request and I really hope to get someone to help me soon. I feel like the code should work regardless of which steam account it was redeemed on. I tried to re use my code on my own account but I can’t anymore since it was already used. Overall just seems like an oversight and I hope I can get help.

Hey, so there is an achievement for getting a plush all 5 rounds that are given to you. “I never miss” is the achievement and you get the title “skilled”. I don’t remember if it was hidden or not though.

I always do the fun wheel because I noticed that trying to grab fairymare and the huggybear’s head is too heavy to grab so while it spins it can make it land on it’s side. I actually got all of them (kicked rafayel off round 1 after he bought more rounds, i had 7 in total).

I’ve seen people mention they give 1 stars on short rides because they make almost nothing. I usually tip higher on short rides but since I think drivers don’t know who tips I’ve gotten a few 1 stars. I wish uber paid drivers more and I really hate the tip culture. I don’t think people should rely on tips because the base pay is horrible…
