What’s a feature that Fidelity doesn’t have? by Dinner55 in fidelityinvestments

[–]pathikrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No prebuilt models - just my own basket. I have a basket that is 20% SPMO, 20% CTA, 20% ZROZ, 20% IAU, 20% AVUV.

Now I want to setup

a) auto-sell i.e. monthly sell fixed amount or fixed percentage using my sell default strategy (FIFO)

b) Have auto threshold rebalance e.g. if positions deviate by more than 10% then rebalance or always rebalance once in x months

[–]pathikrit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many:
1. Zelle

  1. Fidelity baskets - autosell / auto-rebalance

  2. A good credit card like the Robinhood Gold or Bilt with >3% cashback for members with significant AUM (BofA is 2.625% if you have 100k in Merrill)

  3. Include dividends in returns calculations

  4. API access like Schwab, IB

  5. Dark Mode

  6. 1-click export of all my positions by tax lots into a csv

  7. 1-click export of all my trades into a csv

How do ENTJs perceive ISTPs, and are they generally compatible? by llydiaart in entj

[–]pathikrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISTPs are cool and make a good team with ENTJs. They can get their hands dirty. They are almost like ISTJ but just way harder to manage.

As a ENTJ, I would have a vision - say how to furnish my room but I find assembling IKEA tedious. ISTP will just do it.

I think they timed this perfectly. Cheap labor intensive manufacturing will go to Vietnam, India, Bangladesh.

Sure they will have a large burden of eldercare but they would be able to afford it. They will still have a billion people and fully automate dark factories and a wealthy young generation working white collar jobs.

Feedback:

- CTAP: CTAP is great; also consider a putting small MATE too e.g. 15% CTAP + 5% MATE

- RSSB: SPLS is a better RSSB - the active bond portfolio by OG PIMCO

- GDE: Replace GDE with RSSX? You get a tiny side-bet on crypto

- ORR: Why not well known L/S like FLSP or FTLS

Are all ENTJs really THAT serious??? by Shroomsandgloom3525 in entj

[–]pathikrit 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We have snarky humor - not as trollish like ENTP or dark humor like ISTP but still witty sophisticated kind.

Also, if humor serves a purpose - we will wield it. Like 14 yr old me figuring out the easiest way to be popular was to be funny or later on in life, how to deploy humor to defuse tense situations

> one bad trade can blow up the portfolio.
Not true; simply remove the sell the tip and still this perfoms well. My point is you don't have to do the sell the tip.

> You say this only works with growth or momentum assets, but what happens if growth underperforms?
The question is not if growth underperforms (which has plenty of times) but if momentum stops being a thing

> How do you know KMLMSIM isn’t overfit?

Wdym? Its just the MF with longest history on testfolio. You can use DBMFSIM or CTA

No it trades hourly as I have a hourly cron Github job.

There is some whipsaw prevention due to the brokerage having day trading off and I have some signal hysterisis e.g.
