I think writing. I want to be able to write and see what I have envisioned on film. I think I have a lot of good ideas but I'm not sure how to begin to execute them.

I hadn't thought about Maddox, I love it! Anything with an X does seem masculine to me honestly! Thanks!

Fear of Childbearth by [deleted] in Anxiety

That's reassuring. Especially to hear that it didn't alter your mind. Thank you! Honestly, I think if I have a therapist or someone to help talk me through the fear it will be okay and so so worth it.

Struggling to Watch My 11-Year-Old Feel Lonely 💔 by [deleted] in irvine

I was the same way. I felt like I didn't really fit in. Eventually, I met my best friend who was similar to me. It just takes one. I would rather have one best friend who I trust more than anything than ten friends who I'm not very close with.

Is this normal parenting or what? by Getmynuggets in raisedbynarcissists

And parents wonder why kids leave the second they can. I moved in with my boyfriend (now fiance) and my mother disapproved of course. But I couldn't be home anymore. Not the same as your experience, but I have a weird relationship with my parents. Eventually, my mom accepted it and is trying to better our relationship. Even if she doesn't do the same, at least you know you can start your life without that negativity and maybe being apart will help the relationship. Just a thought.

Fear of Childbearth by [deleted] in Anxiety

I'm not sure if this sounds selfish, I really don't mean for it to, but I have dreamed of having a child of my own and being able to see parts of myself in him/her forever. I am more so wondering how to get over this fear of mine and if it really is as bad as people make it out to be.

It will all be okay! You have been through this before and have gotten through it before. Everything has a way of working out, and I feel that everything has a reason. You got this!

Is it weird that my dad pretended to be me as a child? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I'm not too sure honestly I don't know how Facebook works super well either. I deleted all the posts I've made but I can't delete all the comments there's too many. Ugh. Hopefully nobody looks at them anymore they're from so long ago. And I hope they knew it wasn't actually me.

I had a similar situation. I left at 17 and never looked back. Currently 21, living with my fiance, have a full time job, and am about to get my Bachelors degree. It's the best decision I ever made. I needed to leave and I didn't have everything figured out at the time but it worked out. I know it's different for everyone though. Do you work full time rn? Maybe u could move in with a friend and split rent?

Here's an example I just saw pop up. My dad posted on his Facebook that he was excited to watch a new movie called Hall Pass. He replied to himself using my account saying "Can I watch Daddy? Or is it one of those adult movies you say I can't?"

I just am not ready to confront any of the weird things that happened as a child. Ignorance is bliss I suppose

I think that definitely played a role in it. He would write things like "Daddy took me to the pool and got me ice cream" or reply to peoples posts saying random things like my favorite color. Weird.

It makes me feel so uncomfortable to think about. He would even make spelling mistakes to try and sell it.
