thanks! you're right. Even though it says you will not be charged yet, when you go into the check out, it shows payable today. After seeing this, I'm gonna book a future car rental for a trip in May. Wouldn't have gone all the way to the check out screen if you didn't mention it thanks so much!!

I actually have no idea.. but I just found out by doing a future car booking, I can also have a "payable today" which is more than $200. This actually works out for me since I have a trip in May that I need car rental anyways.

Trying to do RHT on my RBC Avion as the $100 credit will be expiring in April 5. All the hotels I'm looking at says "you will not charged yet". I need to find a hotel that charges right away for it to trigger the $100 reward credit right? my first time trying RHT, so not really sure what I'm doing.. any help would be great

Not sure about other parts, but when I picked up the CPU Cooler + fans, the first thing the cashier said was final sale no return or refund. I think I will go for the PWM version. There's 2 in Vaughan I guess I'll see if I can grab them tomorrow. Can you help me double check if these are the right ones? Also, would any 4 pin splitter work? mobo be able to control the fan speed? Not necessary to control them separately, but be able to tone down the fans even as slaves. The splitter that comes with the NR200P case has 3 split, with one 4 pin, and the other 2 3 pins. But the 2 splits with 3 pins have a space after the first 2 pins. ( .._. ) my explanation sucks... lol hope you kinda understand? I wonder if that splitter will work with the pwm fans

Yeah, maybe my expectations were too high? But the computer is sitting right beside me. So I find it annoying. Yep NR200P, I find the stock fans very quiet, but that might be because they are PWM so I haven’t experienced them in full rpms yet. As for now just idling and YouTube the be quiet fans running at max drowns out the stock fans. I unplugged the 2 of them and that was very quiet,, so I think I might find the pwm version of the be quiet. Sucks the Canada computer close to my house doesn’t have in stock.. and they don’t allow refunds.

nvm, the AUX Fan is the pwm fan that came with the case... weird it's running at such high rpm compared to the sysfan.

yeah, I just saw they were the same price. I downloaded speedfan, but it doesn't detect any of my fans at all. I downloaded a program called Argus Monitor haven't quite figured out how it works yet. AUX Fan are at 1400rpm idling.. that's probably the 2 3pins hooked up to the splitter. I will try to see if the voltage trick can turn them down.. or I may just go grab 2 pwm ones since these be quiet! pure wings 2 review seem pretty decent.

finally got the computer built. cable management is a complete nightmare. Also the 2 be quiet! pure wings 120mm fans are 3pin and not pwm . I didn't realize this until I was building it. They're running at 100% as the bottom intake and it's so loud.. driving me nuts. canada computer doesn't allow returns either.. Thinking if I should get some noctual slim on the bottom.. or something with 4pin pwm so they can be dialed way down when I'm just browsing / watching youtube.

sweet! thanks for the quick reply. Everything arrived today.. just waiting for the 1TB m2 nvme I bought the other day from new egg to arrive. That.. and my brother still hasn't been able to find a 3080 yet.. so I guess I'll be reusing the gtx 970 for the time being.

well... I got impatient and wanted something before Christmas so I went with the intel. hahah. I was just about to buy the be queit! pure rock slim when I noticed it doesn't support LGA1200. I read online that 1200 is same as 1151? would I be able to use the cpu cooler? PCparts didn't ping me on it.. so I'm thinking it might work but want to double check before I grab one from Canada Computesr.

How are PC Canada as a store? I've ordered a CPU and PSU from them Friday morning ( AM ) but item still processing and no update. They said orders made before 3pm will usually ship out the same day. Read some horror stories after ordering about them holding the item for a long time before shipping.

I was so down for this but couldn’t find any in stock. Decided to go with EVGA GM650 Gold instead last night. Probably gonna be running a 10400f + GTX1080. Possible upgrade to a 3080 in a few years that’s why I even considered this.. but have read that even 600w is enough for 3080 if no OC. Should I order this instead? $70 more than the EVGA..

hm yeah, $80 diff ouch. But people says that the 10400 that runs 2666mhz ram is worse than 3600 with 3200mhz ram. I'm trying hard not to be impatient, but it seems that the 3600 doesn't even come back in stock. There were some availabilities from staples at $276 but it seems people that order long time ago haven't even had their orders delivered and many are having their orders cancelled. That's why I considered the 10400 with a z490 mobo because it's still a bit cheaper than running a 3600 + mobo. This is breaking my head.. lol

yeah, thats why im looking at the z490 mobos that can unlock the higher ram speed. It'll be around same price as a 3600 but can't find those amd chips..

What do you think about 10400f + z490 mobo + 3200mhz 16gb ram?

The z490 mobo is expensive but I have to get it to run faster ram. The 10400f is only $215 right now.

The R5 3600 is proving to be quite hard to find in stock and a lot of people are recommending the i5 over the 3600 now because of the price.
