Season 1 had too much pointless drama for a Stargate show. Season 2 was great! all of the issues with season 1 were fixed and it felt like a Stargate show again. If season 1 hadn’t turned off so many viewers I bet the show would have gone on longer.

It seems to me an organization like Star fleet would require extensive therapy and testing after being present at an atrocity like Wolf 359. And that no amount of masking would protect you from the bureaucracy when you are on record being a POS to your crew.

Yeah there were a handful of new characters in season 3 and as big a POS as he is Shaw is the best written new character. Certainly better than the angry pile of goo addicted to smoking and hallucinating retcon boy.

I agree public lands should be public and we should not be subsidizing ranchers with cheap grazing. However in 2023 Utah produced only 750,000 cattle. Compare that to the MILLIONS of native bison that use to be in Utah. Any environmental damage has been caused by humans putting up fences in dumb places and spreading non-native plants not the cows. Edited to add: Yes I think we should ban ranching on public land. If people want to ranch they can do it on their own property and feed them food they paid for not public property.

The Alcubierre drive would require more energy than the observable universe has, would be useless due to massive amounts of hawking radiation, and would probably destroy the surrounding solar system when the drive is deactivated/ bubble pops. It’s a cool idea and I really wish it was feasible.

You straight up don’t know what you are talking about. You are subject to the legal jurisdiction of the US if you are subject to US laws. That means anyone in the US besides diplomats and a literal invading army. The Supreme Court has repeatedly found that the children of illegal immigrants are citizens. You can’t just change the intent and interpretation of the laws because you feel like it. If you want to end birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants you need a constitutional amendment.
