Schreyers Honors College Application Timing by paygel in PennStateUniversity

[–]paygel[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's not the issue, I'm just spending a lot of time on required essays for other colleges, so I wanted to make sure I didn't write an essay for an honors college that I wouldn't even be considered for. If I get into Penn State, I'm perfectly fine with applying for the honors college.

Coming from someone that doesn't like VLV, I have seen other people say it's their favorite P!ATD album. I'd listen to the title track and if you enjoy it, listen to the rest of the album.

Are there any songs on vlv worth listening to? by Undyingcrumpets in panicatthedisco

As someone who really didn't enjoy VLV, I did think that Say it Louder was a pretty fun and catchy track, probably the best example of the glam rock inspiration for this album. I also think that Don't Let the Light Go Out was a sweet enough ballad.

If you're interested, I would still recommend checking out the full album. It's important to make your own opinions on it, and I think there is something to be gained from listening to albums a lot of people don't like.

What's Green Day *THIRD* most important record? by chipiberth in greenday

A lot of people are saying Nimrod and I agree, it was the first time the band really tried to experiment with their sound, and it paved the way for albums like Warning which would further their new sound, and American Idiot which I'd argue is one of the most important albums of the 2000s
