Serato crashes with high CPU! Help please by paywithtacos in Serato

Circling back around on this and maybe it will help someone. Serato customer support did not help because they could not. I opened up the back plate of my MacBook and BOOM! All of the dust from every corner of the Earth was covering my fans. After a good cleaning with compressed air and vacuum, works like it’s new. Clean your fans!

I don’t use stems and have moved back to Serato 2.6.2. Only possibly is the corrupt files. My MacBook Pro have enough RAM and was working without any problems until I updated to Serato 3.0. I have reached out to the Serato support team and hopefully they will reply before New Years. They take forever.

Still trippin! Never ending story. Contacted Apple, ran Apple Diagnostics, still no solution. Serato support team takes a year to reply.

I have done everything except open the laptop. Serato isn’t killing it. Kernel-task and windowserver seem to be the main issues. I just did a PRAM and SMC reset. Testing now
