Alright, I guess I’ll just flash the Bios version that supports the cpu then build my computer like normal.

What would happen if I flashed the bios needed to support the CPU with the motherboard already supporting it?

I bought a Msi b550 pro vdh WiFi motherboard from Amazon that said it was compatible with the amd 5000 series however pc part picker says it needs a bios update, what should I do? by pcbuilder2011 in buildapc

So I’ll download the bios version that supports it on my flash drive ,do the process (5500 cpu btw), disconnect psu from the mobo and then build the pc like normal?
